Report Generator @ Rocscience

Designed and planned a new product for use in the entire Rocscience suite of apps.

Worked with customers to find and gain feedback, leading to a successful pitch to the CEO for the project.

The app turns simulation outputs such as point clouds, contour maps, 3d geometries, and data tables directly into ready-to-go engineering reports suitable for use by architects, regulators, and civil engineers.

I worked on a Report Generator application that encodes data in a consistent format across the

. The app exports PDFs and Excel sheets with project data, preset styles, and company branding. I simplified the preset components and worked with UI/UX designers and lead developers on a web and desktop implementation.

• Led a successful pitch to the CEO based on customer feedback and interviews.

• Built the app and custom PDF generation pipeline on top of PDFjs using C++, Typescript, Electron, Figma and React.JS.
