New York, Springtime.
The process of analog creation is one of disconnection. A canvas in the park, a film camera dusted with sand at the beach, a guitar echoing through Brooklyn’s stony streets. When you’re in the flow, time takes a backseat to creation.
I made Sunny 16 to let the process of creation literally replace the concept of time and remind me to slow down. It’s not 4 o’clock, it’s time to shoot at F/11.
The watch face is available soon on the Play store for your WearOS watch, and soon thereafter as a widget on iOS and Android.
The light metering is done via you watch’s ambient light sensor, or using the good ol’ sunny 16 rule (taking into account the local weather of course).
Don’t use it as an actual meter it’ll probably mess up your exposures. Just use it as a reminder to forget the time sometimes.
